Lelouch Lamperouge: Student, genius, leader of a terrorist group, Britannian prince and later, Tyrant Emperor of Britannia, Lelouch vi Britannia. When Lelouch was just ten years old, his mother was killed by his father’s brother – the crime was committed purely out of jealousy. When the young prince confronted his father, the Emperor, Lelouch renounced his throne. He and his blind, crippled little sister Nunnally were thrown out into the world, namely Japan, where the Kururugi family took them in.

Lelouch and Nunnally eventually started living at Ashford Academy. One fateful day, when Lelouch skipped classes to play chess, Lelouch was caught up in something big. He encountered a girl, C.C., who bestowed upon him the “Power of the King,” Geass. With this power, Lelouch could issue any command to any person. And with this power came a new identity: that of the terrorist leader, Zero.
